Offshore Africa Dive Charters is owned, based and managed by ROB NETTLETON of Park Rynie on the South Coast of KawZulu-Natal in South Africa. Rob is an experienced P.A.D.I Dive Master and Commercial Skipper having operated consistently in the field for more then 18 years. He is also an avid spear fisherman originally from the Natal South Coast where he started his diving career on and around the Aliwal Shoal.
Rob has worked up and down the South African coastline both in the dive industry as well as the deep sea fishing industry.
He started exploring Mozambique and its diving potential in 1990 and eventually spent 8 years of his life pioneering potential scuba locations along the Mozambique coastline, after which he established a fully functional recreational dive operation plus Deep Sea game fishing charter facility in Pomene Bay, Inhambane district, Mozambique.
Rob has a passion for sharks of all species and has played an active role in conservation measures and the fight against finning taking place on the East coast of Southern Africa.
During this time Rob always found a way to partake in the spectacular annual Sardine Run, in one capacity or another and has been enthusiastically diving and fishing the famous sardine run since the age of 14. He passionately loves to share his wealth of knowledge, experiences and fascination for this amazing phenomenon with all.
Rob and his team are now offering offshore photographic diving expeditions along the Wild Coast, Natal and Mozambique coastlines.
